Change Log - Version 0.9

Number of rows and columns can be customized per group.
When the number of dials of a dial group is changed, dials are redistributed correctly.
Javascript can be enabled or disabled per dial using the Edit Dial dialog.
The thumbnail can now be used to drag & drop to relocate.
Dial groups can now have custom fonts and background images.
Thumbnail cropping can now apply scaling before the crop.
Added option to move a dial to a different group in the dial contextual menu.
Added direct access to backup restoring from the Speed Dial settings panel (click the "Settings" button in the lower left side).
Improved thumbnail generation code.
Added new tab in Speed Dial settings panel, "Defaults", which allows to change the dial and group defaults and apply those values to the existing dials or groups.
Added editing panels for group, launch and weather dials, available in the "Actions" button of the Edit Dial dialog.
Added option in the settings panel to open Speed Dial in the current tab when using the toolbar button.

Version 0.7.2.12

New type of dial: weather. Set the address of a dial to "weather:" or "weather:location" (where location is the name of a city) in order to show the weather conditions and temperature. Click on that dial to see the full forecast. If used without an automatic location, Speed Dial will try to determine it using your IP address, a service courtesy of GeoBytes.
Improved crop editor. Once a selection is made, it can be moved or resized.
Focus is no longer lost in most sites even when Javascript is enabled.
Automatic backups of the dials are stored in the "SDBackups" subfolder in Firefox profile folder.
"launch:" dials now show the native file icon for all files.
When the "Make thumbnail from" option is activated, the thumbnail URL will no longer default to "http://" if the address field is empty.
Corrected more than 2 URLs for a single dial.
Having too many groups no longer extends the Speed Dial area.

Several website addresses can be assigned to a single dial by separating them with '|'. If that character needs to be used, use '\|' instead, and it will be properly replaced when accessing it.
Added two types of special addresses: "launch" and "javascript". The first allows you to launch a file or executable from a dial. To use it, you've to assign an address to a dial that starts with "launch:", and then the path of the file or executable that will be assigned to that dial. The second will execute a small script when the dial is accessed. To do so, write "javascript:", and then the Javascript code, like the one that can be used in extensions like "keyconfig" or "Custom Buttons".
Speed Dial now uses the Firefox site icon database when available, which increases performance and decreases memory usage.
Fixed bug when using right-to-left languages.
Several minor bugfixes.
Added compatibility with Firefox 3.1 beta 1.

Added dial groups. Enable them at the Speed Dial settings panel, and manage the groups by right clicking in the new groups tab bar in the Speed Dial tab.
Added MultiKey, which will appear when there are more than 9 dials available, and using a Speed Dial key shortcut. An overlay will be shown , and you may enter the number of the dial you want to visit by pressing multiple numbers. To close the dialog, release the "modifier" keys (Ctrl, Alt, Shift). Also, the cursor keys, "+", "-" and backspace can be used while in this mode.
Added thumbnail cropping. In the "Edit Dial" dialog, select the "Crop" tab to define the cropping square. Also, a visual tool has been added to be able to choose the desired area more easily.
Added thumbnail layout tab. Here, alternative scalings and background color can be choosen.
Added alternative URL to the "Edit Dial" dialog, which allows to generate a thumbnail from an URL, but keep opening the main URL when accessing the dial.
Image URLs are now recognized, and receive special treatment.
Added "first time configuration" dialog to assist new users.
Added many configuration options that had to be accessed through "about:config".
Added the ability to hide the icon and/or the number for dials.
By default, thumbnail buttons will be hidden until the mouse is over the thumbnail. This is configurable.
When modifying a dial, and a refresh in required to show the changes, the user will be prompted to refresh it.
Thumbnails in Firefox 2 can now be generated with Java, which increases the quality substantially.
Increased thumbnail quality in Firefox 3.
Each thumbnail can have its own width and height.

Added "Add Dial" dialog. Just click on an unassigned dial.
Added "Modify Dial" dialog. Right click on a thumbnail and choose "Edit".
Added alert when user is about to overwrite Speed Dial entry.
Thumbnails can be reordered by using drag and drop. Also, dropping a URL on a thumbnail will assign it to that dial.
Added background browser that will refresh the thumbnails. The refreshing interval can be editor per thumbnail.
